Thursday, February 6, 7 PM, Evening out with the girls, speaker Sue Ballotti, Hegarty Hall, sponsored by St. Anthony Guild

Thursday, March 6th, 7pm, our seminarian, Emmanuel Delfin, spoke out on how the Hebrew Bible actually advocates Women and not subjugate them as it first seems.

Saturday, March 8th, 5:30pm, in Hegarty Hall:
 "Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner"
A great evening for those who are new to the parish or who just wanted to meet more people. It was quite something new for a Saturday night!

Sunday, March 30th, 8-11:00am, in Hegarty Hall:
"Women's Society Tea"

Thursday, May 13th in the St. Margaret Mary Room:
"Animal-Stuffing Event"

A night of coming together hosted by the Women’s Society Our Lady of Fatima Guild to make stuffed animals (roughly 200) for the children at UCLA Children’s Ward in Torrance.

Thursday, May 1st in Hegarty Hall:
"The Women’s Society Spring Pot Luck"

The theme for this event was a thank you to all the past and present guild members from the following guilds which started back in the 1960's:

Our Lady of Fatima, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Our Lady of the Rosary, Sacred Heart, St. Ann, St. Anthony, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, St. Francis Xavier, St. Gerard, St. Joan of Arc, St. Jude, St. Lorenzo Ruiz, St. Margaret Mary, St. Margarita, St. Mary, St. Lucy and St. Theresa.
We shared food, and lots of memories from the past and hope to bring in more women to continue serving our parish.

Friday, August 15th, 7 PM in the St. Joseph Center:
"Blessed Mother Teresa"

A 1.5 hour presentation by our seminarian, Emmanuel Delfin, about her life, the religious community she founded, and the side of her we don’t expect— her long dark night of the soul. We had drinks and snacks, while spending a little time with a great Catholic nun who gave so much of her life to God!

On May 13th Our Lady of Fatima Guild hosted a animal stuffing night.

We stuffed about 300 animals that were taken to Harbor UCLA Children’s Ward in Torrance. The next stuffing night will be Tuesday March 10th at 6:30pm in the St. Margaret Mary Room.

Saturday, Oct. 25th, at Hagerty Hall:
Family Halloween Party

Costumes were optional this night. The Women's Society provided a dinner, dancing and Karaoke. Most people took advantage of the Karaoke. We are hoping to continue this event next year and have a lot more people show up. You missed a family fun evening for adults and children so be sure and check this event out next year!

Thursday, Dec. 4th, at Hagerty Hall:
Christmas Pot Luck

With raffles and lots of singing with Bishop Joe playing the piano. But the main theme for this Potluck was to honor Shirley Lavezzari who has been in the Women’s Society for over 50 years.
